Education minister calls for Cambridge International to upgrade Manx students
The Island's education minister is urging an exam board to upgrade Manx students grades this week.
In a post on social media, Dr Alex Allinson confirmed he's written to Cambridge Assessment International Education following concerns over last week's IGCSE results.
The minister says the only fair solution is for all Isle of Man students to be given their Centre Assessed Grades.
He's urging the body to take action this week to avoid ruining the future of the Island's young people.
Dear CAIE, I have written to you this weekend insisting that the only fair solution for Isle of Man students is to upgrade all results to their Centre Assessed Grades. This has to be done this week to avoid ruining the future of our young people. @NickGibbUK https://t.co/RswQRKFlDU
