The examination phase will start on 3 March, with an independent panel set to scrutinise the plans over the following months (roughly six) before reporting back to the Council of Ministers with a recommendation.
Jamie Baldwin, director of the Mooir Vannin project, explains what's involved:

Mr Baldwin says the majority of respondents, around two-thirds, raised 'significant concerns':
As we enter the final weeks before the examination phase, the company has published and updated list of the benefits it believes the Mooir Vannin project will have on the Isle of Man.
It estimates the windfarm would bring 'significant financial benefits with approximately £2 billion to the Island through taxation and rent'.
