
The Infrastructure Minister believes his department's handling of current road issues shows a more "joined up" way of thinking.
Laurence Skelly says an investigation is currrently underway to work out what caused the extensive flooding on Peel Road at the weekend, while an major scheme in Port Erin is also being revisited.
Mr Skelly says everyone wants the best quality possible and they are working with private contractors to try and achieve that.
He adds it is better to sort out issues now, rather than weeks down the line.
