Award-winning harpist preparing for tour
A select few guests were treated to an exclusive performance this afternoon (Wed 1), from local harpist Mera Royle, along with Ray Dolloso and Owen Williams, ahead of their upcoming UK tour.
The trio are heading to their first stop this weekend - the Cambridge Folk Festival - to perform in front of a considerably bigger audience at one of the best-known folk festivals in Britain and beyond.
Mera was awarded the accolade of Young Musician of the Year, at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards earlier this year.
She told Manx Radio the tour has very much been sparked by that accolade:
