Marine Biology might not be the obvious start for an artist, but Dr Jeremy Paul's scientific roots prepared him well for a career as a wildlife painter on the Island.
A new exhibition at the Manx Museum opens today (14 September) to mark a quarter of a century of the artist's work.
The exhibition features paintings from Jeremey's travels across the world, the canvases ranging from wrens to giraffes.
His realistic portrayals or wildlife in acrylics have garnered awards across the world.
The exhibition runs until next January and today there's a chance to meet Jeremy as he signs copies of his new book at the museum shop between 1100 and midday.
