John Trott invited over by Safe Strong Secure
A former police chief and expert in domestic abuse cases is on the Island this week.
John Trott, who is the director of training and consultancy business Abuse Free Life, will host a course on coercive control tomorrow (23 Oct) for frontline professionals.
The former Detective Chief Inspector at Devon and Cornwall Public Protection Unit and Force Lead into Domestic Abuse, has been invited over by local charity Safe Strong Secure and addressed Tynwald earlier today (22 Oct).
It's part of an effort to raise awareness for what they say is the need for renewed legislation on the issue.
