Treasury and DHSC have agreed a £4,500 fee for the review
Treasury has brought in an external specialist in a bid to improve Manx Care's financial oversight and governance.
An Isle of Man Government spokesperson has confirmed to Manx Radio that the review, which will cost £4,500, aims to support ongoing improvements in forecasting, control and risk management, as well as performance and accountability arrangements and reporting.
It's hoped this work will enable Treasury and the Department of Health and Social Care to gain a clearer understanding around the healthcare provider's financial governance, and to challenge more effectively where necessary.
