IoM branch outlines its vision, mission, aims and demands
The environmental movement Extinction Rebellion has gained its first lot of Manx recruits, after a newly formed local branch held its inaugural meet up last night.
More than 60 people were in attendance at the Legion Club in Douglas, to discuss civil disobedience and non-violent direct action.
The group, which says the climate emergency is 'too big and too urgent' to be left to politicians, believes it must break the law in order to create a 'system change.'
