Chief Minister to make two statements
The Brexit deal and the latest on the Covid-19 pandemic will be the topics at an extra sitting of Tynwald this morning starting at 10am.
The Chief Minister will make two statements.
The first is on the outcome of negotiations between the EU and UK and the implications for the Isle of Man.
The second is on Coronavirus.
Members have the opportunity to question Howard Quayle after each statement.
They will then be asked to approve the latest self-isolation measures announced at a special media briefing last week.
People arriving back to the Island will need to take a test on arrival and on day 13 of their quarantine period at a cost of £50.
If they are not prepared to be tested, the period of self-isolation is extended from 14 to 21 days.
There is no longer an hour allowed for exercise.
The measures have been introduced due to the number of cases in the UK and the new strain of the virus which appears to be much more contagious.
You can listen to the sitting of Tynwald on Manx Radio's AM 1368 frequency, online and on our smartphone apps.
The Chief Minister will also hold a media briefing at 4pm on Brexit.
