Initiative created over £367,000 of publicity
The installation of "fairy houses" around the Island cost just over £26,000 - or over £6,500 each.
The figure was provided by Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly in Keys this morning.
The tiny houses - some only 30cm high - have appeared around the Island at sites such as Bradda Head, Dhoon Glens, Ballaglass and of course the Fairy Bridge.
Mr Skelly told questioner Julie Edge, the amount of publicity garnered by what he called "ambush marketing", far out-weighed the cost of the initiative . .
