Boat listing following blaze
An incident at West Quay in Peel is ongoing this afternoon, more than 14 hours after it started.
Firefighters extinguished a blaze on a fishing boat in the early hours of this morning.
Crews were unable to gain access to the cabin, where the fire was located, and had to use both water and foam to suppress flames.
The vessel is now listing heavily and partly submerged, due to the ingress of water during the firefighting operation - and booms have been deployed to contain any contaminants.
Station Officer Roger Brown says whilst happily there were no injuries, the length of time spent at the scene has been putting a strain on manpower:

'Too early to tell' what caused fire
Firefighting foam may have killed fish in Silverburn River
Additional road closure for TT filming ahead of MGP qualifying
'Knives and sharp implements' left outside charity shops
