MHK questions whether funds could have been paid out sooner
Families are facing 'enormous pressure' while waiting to receive payments from government support schemes during lockdown.
That's from Douglas South MHK Claire Christian, who questions whether more could have been done to get money out sooner to businesses and individuals in need of help during the circuit breaker.
MERA payments started to be sent out last week, while Salary Support Scheme funds will be paid today.
Mrs Christian says it's been a frustrating time for some:

Road closure in place for telecom pole replacement
Farm walk to celebrate Love Lamb Week
SPC says project to replace Manannan ongoing despite claims from minister it's 'on pause'
