Two local charities to benefit from four-mile swim
A local father has done a charity sea swim to raise money in memory of his son.
Dave Higson swam four miles from the water outside the Shore Hotel to Castletown Harbour.
His son Martin took his own life in 2018, and in the months afterwards, Dave set up a support group for anyone affected by suicide
As September is Suicide Awareness month, Dave did the charity swim in aid of two local charities he found helpful as he battled his grief:
