Founder of IoM Bereaved Survivors of Suicide holds meeting
A father who lost his son to suicide is urging everyone to look out for signs of mental distress in their loved ones.
David Higson set up the support group Isle of Man Bereaved Survivors of Suicide after his son Martin's death at the age of 30.
Today (10 September) is World Suicide Awareness Day and the group is meeting tonight on Douglas Head from 7pm, with anyone affected by it welcome to come along.
David says with one person taking their own life every 40 seconds worldwide, it's up to all of us to look out for each other:
