Manager describes Sandbach defeat as 'really bad day'

FC Isle of Man will 'come back stronger' in 2022.

That's the message from the manager after a 5-3 defeat to Sandbach United at The Bowl last night.

It was the Manx side's first defeat on home turf in the North West Counties Football League: Division One South.

Chris Bass described it as a 'really bad day' and said the team was lacking the 'concentration levels' required:

Despite the defeat FC Isle of Man's Michael Williams was named man of the match after bagging two of the Ravens' goals.

He says the team will work harder in upcoming matches, against New Mills and Wythenshawe Amateurs, in January:

Almost 1300 people attended The Bowl for last night's game – you can find a full match report HERE.
