Ballafletcher Road was closed for around nine hours
Emergency services were concerned about a potential toxic gas cloud, when they dealt with a chemical spillage yesterday.
Ballafletcher Road, near the Vehicle Testing Centre on the outskirts of Douglas, was closed for around nine hours.
