The Manx witchcraft trial of Elizabeth Kewin in 1666
With Hop-tu-naa on the horizon, and spooky events in Arbory (namely the power cut) - the area is no stranger to the supernatural.
According to the Manx Notebook, today in 1666, a woman was put on trial for witchcraft - accused of shape-shifting into a hare, tampering with livestock, and casting evil charms.
