No drone flights at night and weight restrictions among proposals
The views of the public are being sought on plans to introduce stricter laws for drone users.
The Isle of Man Civil Aviation Administration is proposing a number of additional requirements, including a ban on night time drone flights and weight restrictions.
The consultation is looking for feedback on a number of additions to the Island's safety legislation for drones.
The plan included prohibiting drone flights at night, banning flights further than 500 metres from the pilot, and preventing the use of any drone weighing more than four kilograms without explicit permission from the Civil Aviation Administration.
The organisation says it wants to produce simple and easy-to-understand rules that address the safety risks from drone operation.
The consultation launched earlier this week and runs until 29 July. Full details of the proposals can be found in the Consultation Hub on the government's website.
