Police say they’re determined to catch those responsible for an assault on board one of the Steam Packet’s ferries.
Officers say the incident happened on the Manannan as she travelled from Liverpool to Douglas on Saturday.
Two men got into an argument in the gents’ toilets which spilled over into the bar, and police are asking anybody who saw anything to come forward.
Police say a number of passengers may have seen what happened, as people brought the incidents to the attention of Steam Packet staff.
Officers say they won’t tolerate public order offences of any kind – either at sea or on land – and the incident will be dealt with in a robust fashion.
And they say following media reports of passengers misbehaving in recent weeks, their aim is to allow members of the public and their families to travel to and from the Island peacefully.
