Farmers struggling with availability as well as rising costs
Issues affecting supplies of fertiliser for farmers pose a 'huge threat' to future food production on Island and elsewhere.
That's the view of the Manx National Farmers' Union as availability of the product, along with the rising cost of it, continues to pose challenges.
The union says the instability of the market is affecting cash flow for farmers.
President Ean Parsons is warning, if the situation continues, we could see severe food shortages:
