Responsible drinking encouraged
The dangers of 'pre-drinking' or 'pre-loading' are the focus of a campaign run by the Isle of Man Constabulary this festive season.
Launched today (Thurs 23rd), 'Drink Safe IoM' is a collaborative project between Public Health, the Police and Bus Vannin.
Posters, flyers and social media posts aim to highlight the potential risks and consequences of drinking at home before a night out.
But Sergeant Wendy Barker says it's more about responsible drinking rather than discouraging people from celebrating with alcohol
