FOI uncovers emergency unit information
Three hours and twenty five minutes was the average waiting time at A&E for patients over the festive period.
Data revealed via a freedom of information request shows that between December 20 and January 2, roughly 76 people a day attended the emergency department.
Health officials say on Boxing day the waiting time jumped up 23% per cent , to four hours and twelve minutes, with 89 people calling in.
On Christmas Day however, fifty people attended A&E.
