Silvery gibbon in European breeding programme
It's a special day at the Curraghs Wildlife Park, as one of its newest residents reaches his first birthday today, 19 August.
Ffinlo. the Silvery Gibbon. was born at the park as part of a special European breeding programme.
The species is endangered in its native Java, where the population is in decline.
Manager Kathleen Graham says the family is a real attraction at the park.
