Nandor Fodor now on Amazon Prime
A film about Gef the Talking Mongoose is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
Starring Simon Pegg, 'Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose' follows the story of the Dalby Spook - said to inhabit a farmhouse in the west of the Island - and the Hungarian Parapsychologist who investigated the mystery.
Back in the 1930s the Irving family were convinced they had a creature inhabiting their property - Doarlish Cashen - which would speak to them. The tale has been cemented in Manx folklore ever since and is described by Culture Vannin as the Island's 'most famous folklore export'.
The film was released in cinemas earlier this year to a lukewarm response - it's currently rated 47 per cent on the movie review site Rotten Tomatoes and 5.3/10 on IMDB.
Anyone with a Prime account can watch it for free.
