Consultation aims to find £25m efficiencies
Residents will pitch opinions in person for the final time on potential government saving initiatives today (11 May).
The last pop-up event concludes the Securing Added Value and Efficiencies scheme (SAVE) at Noble's Hospital between 12pm and 1pm, in a bid to drum up £25 million in efficiencies over the next five years.
SAVE chairman Bill Shimmins MHK will man a stand, with Douglas East MHK Clare Bettison, looking for ideas on how budgets can be trimmed long-term.
More than 800 people have contributed to the consultation so far.
