Tradition continues cultural resurgence
Several locations around the Island will play host to a famous Manx tradition this morning.
You can Hunt the Wren - including its customary music, singing and dancing - in Ramsey, Douglas and Kirk Michael.
The festivities also get underway in Port St Mary, Sulby, Ballaugh and St John's before noon.
Hunting, plucking and burying the elusive wren, at one time considered a sacred species, dates back to the ancient Celts.
In its modern incarnation, no actual birds are harmed on St Stephen's Day - but the traditional brightly-decorated pole of yore remains.

9am - Castletown - Market Square
10am: Port St Mary - Scoill Phurt le Moirrey
10.15am: Douglas - The Woodbourne pub
10.30am: St John's - Arbouretum car park
10.30am: Ramsey - St Paul's
11am: Kirk Michael - The Mitre pub
11.20am: Ballaugh - The Raven pub
11.40am: Sulby - Sulby Glen Hotel
