Two pumping appliances and the Duty Officer were mobilised
People are being warned to ensure any electrical work is carried out by a competent person following a camper van fire.
The fire and rescue service were called out to Ronaldsway Industrial Estate yesterday (23 March) at around 10:20am.
Two pumping appliances and the Duty Officer were mobilised.
On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed a camper van was well alight and positioned close to a nearby building.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and bring the incident under control.
Crews worked quickly to prevent the fire spreading to an adjacent property.
