Crews tackle fire at Grosvenor Road property
A blaze in a disused bakery took fire crews over an hour to tame yesterday afternoon (Mon).
Officers from Douglas were called to the incident on Grosvenor Road shortly after 3.30pm, following reports of thick black smoke billowing from the first floor.
The fire was successfully tamed using hoses and a thermal image camera - with damage limited to the immediate area.
There were no people inside the property at the time.
It's not yet known what caused the blaze.
