Neighbours raise alarm in Osbourne Grove
An unattended pan on a hob resulted in a callout for Douglas firefighters.
Crews attended the scene at Osbourne Grove yesterday afternoon after a smoke alarm alerted neighbours to the issue.
Officers forced entry to the flat, where they discovered a small fire caused by an overheating pan.
The team remained at the scene for around 40 minutes while the fire was extinguished and smoke cleared.
