Occupants of property on Brunswick Road given first aid
Fire crews in Douglas were called out to a property on Brunswick Road last night where a Carbon Monoxide detector had been triggered.
The occupants were given first aid by the responders, the source of the gas was detected and the building was ventilated.
Carbon monoxide is a toxic, colourless, tasteless and flammable gas.
The Fire and Rescue Service says you can limit your exposure by making sure gas appliances are maintained and operating correctly, never using a gas grill or generator indoors and not opening ovens doors when in operation.
