Teams assisted Manx Gas and Manx Utilities
Fire crews were called a large gas mains rupture in the Braaid area last night.
Teams from Douglas were mobilised to supply lighting and offered fire cover, to help Manx Gas and Manx Utilities make repairs.
Crews were there for about an hour and a half until the issue was resolved.
