Reminder not to mix cleaning products
Emergency services were called out to a property in Birch Hill, Onchan this morning after the occupant, who was carrying out a deep spring clean, inadvertently mixed two cleaning products which reacted producing noxious fumes.
Fire crews vented the bathroom and dealt with the cleaning products whilst paramedics checked the owner had suffered no ill-effects.
It's prompted a reminder for people to use such products in isolation and not to 'double up for twice the effect'.
