Incident happened earlier this morning
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service has issued advice after being called to reports of a smoking electric vehicle charging point.
Crews attended the incident earlier this morning, with Manx Utilities isolating the electricity supply from the property to make the premises safe.
The fire service says anyone charging an EV should always use approved charging equipment and avoid damaged cables or connectors.
EV drivers are also urged to have their vehicle inspected if there are any warning lights showing.
