Items had been dislodged by the recent storm
Fire crews were called out to remove potentially unsafe debris from a building on Douglas promenade.
Douglas Fire Station received reports shortly before 6pm yesterday that items on the roof of a hotel could pose a risk.
The area was cordoned off to keep the public safe while a specialist ladder was brought to the scene and the loose debris removed.
The debris had been dislodged by the recent storm, and the fire service is urging everyone to remain vigilant of potentially dangerous debris following periods of severe weather.
