Advice shared after cooking left unattended
The Fire and Rescue Service has shared tips on preventing kitchen fires, after being called out to one in Douglas yesterday evening.
The fire had been caused by unattended cooking, and had been put out by the home owner before emergency services arrived.
Fire crews stayed at the smoke-logged property for around 40 minutes.
