St John's-based jewellery studio steps in as new sponsor
The organisers of the Oie Voaldyn Fire Festival, which is set to make a comeback next year, has paid tribute to the contribution of Peel Town Commissioners to the running of the event.
The festival will take place on 4 May 2025 after a new main sponsor, Element Isle, was secured.
This year's event was called off due to lack of funding following sponsorship issues.
Co-founder John Shakespeare says it's great news that planning for the festival can begin, and the role played by the local authority cannot be overstated:
