Plan ahead and follow instructions - that's the message from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service ahead of bonfire night.
Those planning to hold their own fireworks displays can legally do so between November 2nd and November 11th.
Not following safety advice when dealing with fireworks can lead to injury or cause fires.
Firefighters have already been called out this year to tackle a fire at Keristal started by a firework.
Community Fire Safety Officer Mark Caley says such incidents can be avoided:
