Fire services say there was very little delay in reaching a house fire in Kirk Michael last night - despite it being within the course during a practice session.
The sidecar session had to be red-flagged to allow fire services to reach the property on Main Road Kirk Michael
The fire was described as substantial both in and out of the property and two units from Kirk Michael and two from Peel were needed to bring it under control.
One crew were left at the property to damp down after the fire was extinguished, whilst the other three appliances returned to their home stations.
The practices were then able to continue and a fire investigation took place once the roads were open. The exact cause of the fire hasn't been made public at this stage.
The Fire & Rescue service is thanking all of the TT officials and Marshals who helped to bring the incident to what they said was a "swift and safe conclusion".
