Crew remains at scene overnight
Emergency crews were called to a fire spanning four acres on Greeba Hill yesterday.
Firefighters were at the scene for four hours trying to stop the blaze from spreading, with a crew remaining through the night to deal with hot spots and ensure the fire didn't start again.
In a post on social media, IOM Fire & Rescue said the fire remains deep in the ground due to the land being incredibly dry at the moment.
Fire services are urging the public to be extra vigilant during this dry spell.
