Smith pleaded guilty to charges
A Castletown man who broke a lifetime firearm ban has failed to attend court for his sentencing.
25-year-old Ryan Smith, of Northcroft Apartments, pleaded guilty to a charge of prohibited possession of a firearm.
He was banned from handling guns following a conviction for robbery in 2007, but signed out a shotgun and ammunition in Santon last October.
He was due in court this afternoon but didn't show up.
