Two men arrested following police search
Police officers with firearms were deployed in Douglas following reports of an alleged serious assault.
Armed officers, along with members of the police's dog unit, were called out following the incident on Kensington Avenue.
The area was closed for several hours while a search was conducted, with two men being arrested.
The Isle of Man Constabulary insists there was no risk to the general public.
Witnesses are being sought to the incident, with anyone who was in the area asked to contact CID at Police Headquarters on 631301 as soon as possible.
