Adam Boyd honours 9/11 victims with 2,977 burpees
A Manx firefighter battled pain and fatigue to complete a gruelling physical challenge in memory of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
Yesterday, on the anniversary, Adam Boyd performed 2,977 burpees - representing the number of victims.
He also did it to raise funds for two charities, Heroes on the Water and The Fire Fighters Charity - he's currently raised £2500.
He told Manx Radio what urged him to push through the pain:
