Adam Boyd raising money for Heroes on the Water and The Firefighters Charity
A firefighter from the Isle of Man will attempt to do 2,977 burpees on Thursday, which represents each life taken on 11 September 2001.
Adam Boyd is also aiming to raise funds for two charities, Heroes on the Water and The Fire Fighters Charity.
So far, at the time of writing, he's raised £900.
"As a firefighter, I feel a deep connection to the 343 firefighters, paramedics, and first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice trying to save others. They are our brothers and sisters, and their bravery continues to inspire us daily.
"This is not about me — it's about honouring the memory of those we lost. Every drop of sweat is a small tribute to their immense courage."
