Youngster 'none the worse for the ordeal'
Firefighters were called out yesterday after a small child got stuck in a reclining chair.
Just after 1.20pm on Wednesday, teams from Castletown and Malew responded to reports a two-year-old had become trapped in the furniture at a home in the south of the Island.
Crews then removed a section of the chair to free the child.
After precautionary checks by paramedics, it was confirmed the youngster was 'thankfully none the worse for the ordeal'.
