Flames contained to a small area near Scollag Road
The Island's fire service is urging the public to follow fire safety advice after being called to a grass fire in Douglas.
Firefighters attended the scene near Scollag Road in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The fire was contained to a small area, but officers warn the wind was assisting the flames, putting nearby fields and trees at risk.
