Mann Waste says material remolding could take place here
An Island recycling firm is hoping to provide a new solution to disposed plastic bottles.
Jay Reid, who founded Mann Waste Recycling six months ago, wants to establish a facility on Island that enables a 'closed loop' process of the material.
Currently, plastic is shipped off Island and sent to centres across the UK.
Depending on the commodity price, it is then made into products from carpet to football shirts.
In partnership with the Northern, Southern and Western Civic Amenity centres, the firm is the sole contractor for Isle of Man creameries to recycle their new milk cartons.
