A finance director and Patrick commissioner has become the first candidate to declare in Glenfaba ahead of a House of Keys by-election in the constituency.
David Talbot will bid for the seat made vacant following David Anderson’s elevation to the Legislative Council last month.
Mr Talbot, who has lived with his wife in Dalby for the last 40 years, is the founder of Connect2Charity in the Island, chairman of the Western Housing Group and chairs a working group seeking to establish a Manx credit union.
He was a candidate in the General Election in Michael in 2011.
