Stacey Astill to take up role
The winner of the 2015 Manx Bard has been announced.
Stacey Astill was named as the first living recipient of the role at an event at Noa Bakehouse on Wednesday night.
TE Brown had been awarded it posthumously last year.
Applicants had been judged not only on the quality and performance of their poetry, but also what they intended to do with the role over the following 12 months, should they win it.
