Castletown hosts public meeting led by MHK Chris Thomas
The first of four public meetings is taking place today looking at the future rates modernisation.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas is leading the meetings, as well as bringing the proposals to Tywnald this month (15 October).
A review of the rates system is part of the Programme for Government, approved by Tynwald in April 2017.
Other sessions will be held in Peel (Queen Elizabeth II High School), Onchan (St Ninian's Lower School) and Ramsey (the grammar school).
