TT 2013 will officially burst into life today (Sat)
Excitement is building amongst fans for the opening event, the first Sure Sidecar race.
A shortage of practice time has led to the schedule being re-arranged so the race will be preceded by a practice session for the superbike, supersport and superstock machines at 10.30am.
The Sure Sidecar Race 1 will get underway at 12.30pm, with a lightweight and supersport practice at 2.20pm
There will then be a two-lap practice for the superbikes and superstocks at 3.40pm, followed by a 40-minute TT Zero practice with roads opening at 5pm.
Meanwhile, the Dainese Superbike race will go ahead tomorrow (Sun), with the Mountain Road closing at 1pm and the rest of the course for 1.30, in order to give the race a 2.15 start.
